I have had HORRIBLE experiences with birth control. This birth control gave me breast cancer. Is anyone else experience a change in the last couple months? I lost and kept off a good 5-10 pounds since I started it (though some of that was probably consciously) and also have had clearer skin (again, some of it was likely me discovering clean beauty.) but all in all no complaints. Read More Read Less I talked to a coworker who said she was also put on this medication and it almost caused her to hemorrhage. Mood swings, depression, low libido… you name it. I have now gotten to the point where I do not have an appetite and eating food is so hard cause it makes me so nauseous. This pill not only made my periods worse but caused me to have 2 periods every other month. I have Endo and already had pretty painful periods with heavy bleeding. I switched to Lo Loestrin because I was looking for a lower hormone BC and my doctor recommended it. This pill literally tore my body apart in the matter of 6 months. I would recommend and advocate for this oral contraceptive option! I’ve discussed this with my doctors, and have been reassured that this is normal and won’t affect my fertility. I actually don’t have periods at all now, except maybe some spotting a couple times a year. It has prevented pregnancy for me during the entire time I’ve taken it.
